Dolls Nest 2 when?
I can only play so much Ace Combat 8 before I get tired of ADFX-02 spam in multiplayer.

While it's best to take Alqand Scripture with a grain of salt (it is strictly the thinly veiled history of Hod but with extreme bias towards Eden's views after all), I think we can gleam some truths for the scripture that Hati divulged. Namely, the fact that the Variant onslaught and destruction of the lower levels came as a result from Nehma's "death".

What we don't really know though is if that was an intentional failsafe and middle finger last resort Nehma did in the scenario that she was deposed; or if its just an unforesson side effect of whatever cell factory/facilities going haywire and mass producing mindless berserk monsters due to Hod losing its main administrator. I think its also interesting that Alqand scripture paints the rebellion of Nymphs against the Goddess as a bad thing when in truth, the main instigator of the rebellion is the current Pope of the Alqand Church. I guess Eden doesn't mind painting herself as the bad guy, though I guess its not like most modern Nymphs would know of her role in history.

Though the scripture says that the one that ate the brunt of the Goddess' retribution was the Queen of Beginnings, who I would assume is supposed to be Queen Arvud? So maybe Eden wrote Alqand's Scripture as an attempt to pin primary blame on Queen Arvud? Or maybe the two were in cahoots all along and Eden just threw Queen Arvud under the bus in her version of history in order to keep a clean slate?

The betrayal of nymphs against the goddess is probably used to frame other colonies that don't follow Alqand's teachings as heretics, while Alqand and its allied colonies are portrayed as royalists being faithful to the true goddess; even the destruction of the lower colonies by the variants can be seen as divine punishment for betraying the goddess. Despite Eden being the original rebel, it's a really convenient narrative for the church, which is why the church doesn't want anyone to really go on a pilgrimage to the depths and return, as that would expose the church as hypocritical.
