Seems the father emperor agrees with it too.
I like how the Empress is no extremist with her attitude, nor a fool who doesn't know when to keep quiet. She can be a worthy rival/ennemy, if the author uses her right in the scenario.

Ninth Prince (Juechen) looks older than 20. A few questions.
1. How did the original QingGe know the song? Wasn't she originally silly and couldn't learn?
2. What does Ninth Prince (Juechen) mean by candidate in the previous chapter? Candidate to be his consort?
3. What's going on with the Emperor and QingGe? The Emperor can't be her father because then the ninth prince cant' be the ML. She can't be engaged to the 4th (jerk) prince either.

Just to clarify, the Ninth Prince, JueChen, and the Emperor are the same generation (brothers) and the Fourth Prince is the Emperor’s son and JC’s nephew. I thought they were the same generation myself at first. But QingGe refers to the fourth prince being JC’s nephew in chap 19 and JC calls the Emperor ‘brother’ in chap 20.
