The issue is Soraike is down bad for Maria but she also hates being lonely, so she just wants to date to have a normal relationship. but this is contradictory to her desire for Maria, that she doesn’t allow herself toto cross the line, she fantasizes about being with Maria, yet she is so eager to jump into a relationship..Her Desire is her own worst enemy..

For a story written so perfectly for having a poly ending, they're really snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as fast as possible.

Like the author realized the MC could actually pull it off and just became a deer in headlights. And is now sabotaging all the options in the most absurd deus ex machina ways possible so as to not give a chance to the characters and the audience actually being happy.

at least put some thought into how you eliminate potential interests ..
we had the teacher professor who cannot date students ..
we had a girl who wanted to eat good food and instead slept around with guys and girls ..
we had a girl who looks like a guy who had some little sister complex ..
a girl who had some smell complex ..
and now a model who cannot date, only marry ..

at this point i'm expecting an alien, an android and an angel to come to earth to ask for Soraike's love, but she has to live in a different solar system / become an android herself / go to heaven to be with them.

Remember: an editor must do whatever it takes for a series to never end. This is just another trick. The most absurd it gets, the better (?).

maybe a ghost, a vengeful spirit and a ninja from a hidden village.
i'm sure we can drag this out, and add demons and oni into the mix aswell.
of course, a yokai will also do nicely!

Well that’s convenient. None of them are viable partners, at least in the short term. Maybe the author will do a multiroute ending after a timeskip.

Definitely what it feels like. All 5 of them are not viable in the short-term. They’ve all missed the timing, so it’s probably that she’ll end up with, idk, Chiharu, that she’ll have a multiroute ending with time skips in each, or that she’ll have a harem ending (also time skipped).
