It wasn't a great Manga but I kept reading that one because learning about Japan's weird gun laws was pretty fun and the .5s staring the goddess were absolute gold. Seriously, I'd read the shit out of a spin-off staring the goddess balancing overseeing a Japanese isekai guy and working in a small town American gun store, getting drunk with her manager after work, interacting with eccentric locals, etc.
or, just hear me out...ah yeah. that straight up malnutrition and misbalance of food. Rice is good but just rice is not enough. especially when you not chew it properly.
also bro, his power is rizzing everyone. no wonder the goddess nerfed him soo much by making him Dumb. if he exploited that ability he gonna be a new God soon.
also i didn't expect to see that pig reference lmao
This MC is convenient in various ways to a goddess.Looks like the Goddess herself is just another cog in the machine, working her 9-5 job taking care of reincarnators in other worlds.
Reminds me of "Hunting in Another World with my Elf Wife" where the Goddess worked part-time in a discount Dick's sporting goods store in America or "The Main Characters That Only I Know Of" where the MC was a 'Teller'(non-human race) who worked in a large corporation that raised strong hunters from scratch.
I imagine beriberi is as infamous to east asian culture as the bubonic plague is to western cultureIt's always beriberi, just how deeply is that ingrained in Japanese edueducation
it's pretty common tbh. fortunately for me, I'm the only one in my entire clan to never contracted it... I wonder myself if I'm adopted.I imagine beriberi is as infamous to east asian culture as the bubonic plague is to western culture
Because they are white rice eaters beri beri is quite common especially in the past. It's always beriberi, just how deeply is that ingrained in Japanese education?
While beriberi was taken note of in 1886, there were still pushbacks against its preventative measures up until 1926 because the Japanese Lieutenant general at the time didn't want to admit the fact that one of the promised bonuses and easiest supply to acquired was causing the soldiers to be sick because the poor enlisted men ate only white rice, the luxury they couldn't afford before. The council he established insists that it was caused by a pathogen, and their attempt to cover their blunder caused prolonged and tremendous consequences. The fact that one of their own, a British trained Japanese soldier came up with the solution and he himself was pressured by the higher up to straight up DENY ITS EXISTENCE is, in hindsight, a story about the danger of bureaucratic pride. It's always beriberi, just how deeply is that ingrained in Japanese education?
