Can that series end already it's just getting worst and worst, he ( the 'fake' Ars ) literally said he couldn't do anything since being in his bother body made him too weak and now he can instantly shoot magic that instant kill people ( and their soul ).
He also said that he ( the 'real' Ars ) lived in luxury, i wouldn't call losing your life fighting a dragon, getting reincarnated in another timeline where everyone he knew don't remember him anymore, living his live as a martial art slave when he used to live mostly by using magic, all while lying to both new and old people he liked, luxury.
While he ( 'fake' Ars ) is reincarnated as royalty, he has the freedom and the resources to do pretty much anything he want, but he choose to betray the country he protected, his family & everyone else he liked because a the version of his ex-wife on this timeline don't like him back ( but he even admit she is nothing like his ex-wife ) then say he will redo the world because he choose to be a bad boy but instead his 'wife' that he cared so much that it made him crazy ( even tho he choose to just kill her of ), he just kill a random princess ? So his wife doesn't matter now ? Whatever.

lol, i handled something similar on a different manga. Where someone asked a question.....that was answered in that very chapter. It's like people don't read when they read.

No shit he can get stronger like the MC did but there's a difference. Do you not remember why he was glad he reincarnated into that strong body? Try and remember and then see that the other Ars reincarnated into his brothers even weaker body. So yeah compared to MC while neither are really luxurious" the other Ars probably had a harder time considering he also saw himself getting cucked by himself while MC didn't worry about anything but training for 17 years. So while MC ars was casually working on training his body to handle magic other Ars just improved on his magic. I'm not gonna comment on the rest cus it's so obvious you have a hard time understanding or remembering things.

They trained in different things. MC was reincarnated as a slave whose race? had great physical capabilities and so he trained so he could handle the magic he couldn't in the past. The other was reincarnated with a weaker or as weak body so all he could do was really train/retrain in magic and use the puppets to compensate. You're reading the part about Fiel wrong. He says he was to weak at the time to prove he was Ars not save Fiel. When she was in danger he wanted to save her but MC did already and he was probably hesitating to even save her cus it's no his Fiel. Yeah it does look like the author is trying to wrap things up cus I honest to god think they were not planning to stick with this parallel world Ars is Irs, it's so stupid, so the pacing is probably to blame for that. I agree it is turning into shit his reasoning for doing everything is also shit.

Is the evil version of the MC really this generic? Like he can't at least be a cunning and terrifying type of mad egomaniac like the Master/Mistress from DW?

Why are his friends egging him on to do that will either desecrate her memory by zombifying her or is just straight up and very obviously evil Ars' plan like did they forget who set everything up?

You know I really don't know why direction this story is going in. Initially it was about raising their nation's political and military strength. Then it was about figuring out who the new Ars is and that consumed everything so like... now what?
