The last 15 chapters, along with the 4 pages of dialogue they had, have all become really dumb. Just, very suddenly, the MC doesn't see the most obvious plot in the entire world, and starts hyperfocussing in a way he never has, for the last 85-90 chapters?
Like, every reader knew that "Irs" was a fake, and somehow the MC just... missed it?
All so we can have the most tired trope ever enacted?

I do like that "Ars/Irs" assumed that Wals is as bad as him; perfect "bad guy" miscalculation!

Not really that, the part she messed up was not keeping your eyes on your enemy. She had the right idea by attacking him before escaping but making it so that she couldn't see him and even worse showing him your back.....rookie mistake.
