You heard of blackface, but never of blackbody. His hands would be fine if he was quick enough and steel doesnt melt in magma, so that works out too, but holding the sword would burn through his hands and he wouldnt be able to cut holding the blade like that.

This panel got me. Author skipped anatomy 101 and cant draw people running.
