No. All the components you need for a hidden camera, microphone, and transmitter weigh slightly more than the stuffing they'd be replacing. The heaviest thing would be the battery, but if you keep everything in sleep mode until it detects something then you can get away with a surprisingly small one.

They would have been pretty heavy in the 80s, though.
