In the light novel she had more or less the same age as the main character, although his illness affected his growth a lot, she also didn't had the bright skin color of her species but a duller one.

Maybe they shouldn't have drawn the protagonist so small anyway. because It feels really weird.

It is mentioned here as well in a previous chapter that she was 15 just like MC. So shes fine to be with him, I guess she just looked younger because of the curse taking away her vitality and limiting her growth
