That's not what yuri bait is (which is to the vast majority of people something that seems yuri but then turns out to be het), nor is this bait for being unromantic yuri. By your definition multiple series in Comic Yuri Hime, such as the most popular yuri of all time YuruYuri would not be yuri, that's just not how the genre works, there are some yuri manga that just don't have much romance in them at all. But also, calling this yuri is not at all the same as wanting more series like this, defending this as yuri does not mean defending this as a good manga that there should be more of. Those are two very different things.
