Lezhin's official pickup of this series is horrible. Do not bother to go to their site. It was shocking how much is altered and how much of a scam it is.
Lezhin itself- yes- you can create a free account to view it- but you only get one free view, and must log in daily to accumulate FAST expiring points/coins. Otherwise, it's an expensive, messy digital currency payment system.
But the manga...
-They messed with the original chapter numbering and are far behind- as a commenter pointed out in 17.3 here, the chapters are split by 1/3rd chapters and their chapter 18 is VOLUMES behind the actual chapter 18. Now apply that to the cost of buying their digital currency PER CHAPTER.
-The coloring of the manga is jarringly BAD and actively destroys the line art and texture of the original. You CANNOT view it in the original black and white.
-The layout is spaced like a korean manhwa/webtoon, thus ruining the deliberate pacing and layout by the manga artist.
If there is such a thing as preserving the artistic integrity of an original work, the last 2 problems simply destroys that- it reads as a completely different work as a result. To completely change the entire look, layout and design of the comic...to chop up the chapters to bleed subscribers for money...just don't bother with Lezhin's version. Digital english volumes are on Amazon or other stores but only up to volume 4, HOPEFULLY without? the lezhin alterations? - unless anyone could clarify if they are just as bad. There is also a problem with the Kindle versions- commenters mentioned the volumes are mislabeled/out of order after purchasing and using the app- so even that isn't a great option.
