Silly girl, you can be pulling 90 affection moves while youre still pretending to be below 10 affection, of course hes gonna think you have some other motive if you signal to him that you hate him. A clever person wouldve kept the affection at a medium level instead of 0, but ig if these girls were actually intelligent, the series wouldve ended by now.

Im still a bit peeved that the other girls in the party are like "clearly she cares about you, how are you to dense to notice that" but if you had (supposedly) objective stats to show you that someome doesnt care for you in the slightest bit, would the natural reaction not be "clearly i mustve misinterpreted something"? Im all for dunking on dense romcom protags, but you have noone to blame but yourself.

The demom lord seems to be into him to some extent, tho i wonder if thats admiration or love in this case and what her motives are. Clearly she placed that virgin killing trap there and her subordinate(or familiar?) seems to want the girls to not get with the hero so maybe it was some sort of ploy to stop the hero from fighting her and seperate the rest of the hero party from him, possibly so she can seduce him? Or perhaps she dislikes them for being in a position where they could get with the hero easily and doing nothing with it while she doesnt get that chance? Well see.
