so basically even Kano grandparents know how shitty MC family is? (dude, that fucced up. imagine if other people even know how bad you treated your kid they even goes full commando supporting him). and so the reason Kano sister like Mc brother is because she mistook him for the person who saved her big sis? now that dumb (but cliche).
does that mean MC inferiority complex is also totally his brother fault?

Not Kano but MC's grandparents (sorry if my redaction wasn't well written on that part), that's why his brother and his parents didn't went with him to Osaka, in fact Kano had the mentality on the "gotta score bride points with the benefactors" idea haha, every bad issue MC has is because of his brother, actually, the only reason he is so adamant to not accept Kano's feeling until way later is because

1. MC at that point hadn'thad moved from his crush on Suzuno

2. He knew that his brother had a crush on Kano, so if Kano were to accept MC's brother, Suzuno will move on and he would have a chance (he quickly ditches this mentality since he is actually a good guy which leads to the next point)

3. Even if his brother is a piece of trash that literally treats him like trash when no one else is looking (Kano and Suzuno also knows this but Suzuno just ignores that fact, but Kano? She openly told MC that her hands are rated "E for everyone" regarding the asshole's behavior), MC still wish his brother to be happy... of course until that specific date, after it MC finally realized that Kano is a diamond and accepted her.

oh yeah, no - from her perspective it's understandable. Bullying is a serious deal, and MC was the only one who stood up and tried to help.

But he also referred to the same incident as his "Dark Past" - which, bit of a meta call on my end from that term's usage in other titles, but that means it was such a cringe memory for him that he's actively tried to forget about it. To the point that she's hinted at why she's been so focused on him in an earlier chapter, and he just straight up didn't know what she was talking about in terms of "past events" that made her notice him.

That and he's so hung up on this fantasy relationship with her sister, that he's also never confessed to, and I just feel really, really bad for Kano at this point that he is the one she's chosen.

She's got a real Project on her hands, is all I can say.

I think it's because he seems to focus entirely on the fact he got beat up - and not the fact that even in that happening, he saved Kano from bullying, which was the whole point.

But as you said - he's a bozo.

As for why he is so fixated on the little sister...I tried to go back and read through to see if he gave a reason, started getting brain damage rereading his dialogue and monologues, gave up, and have decided it's probably because the four of them have known each other since childhood and she's closer in age than Kano - plus the usual "petite = cute" nonsense that a guy like MC probably decides makes for a good rationship partner (rather than a taller older woman like Kano).

That's about the level I expect him to be operating at, anyway. That or maybe she was nice to him once and that captured his heart forever or something.

His brother was actually better at everything else but he was a coward, that's why his ego grew at such a point it became fragile as fuck, but ever since Mc helped Kano (and that wasn't at the school, it was at a shrine where there was other people watching the bullying unfold), MC's brother started to hate the MC after that at the point of doing things just for them to be compared and isolate the MC innorder to have the best girl, but, as I wrote before, it failed horribly.
