I don't know about using Snow and Lily as their names. Yuki and Yuri makes them sound related, like the sisters they are. Maybe the scan group didn't want the hentai meaning for yuri to influence readers, which kind of shows their own maturity level. There is nothing wrong with the word yuri, especially when properly using it as a noun as the story does here.
