Yep, if preserved right, there should be still active bom/mortar from wwII era burried here and there.

@Lithe Actually, wouldn't be the first time that has happened. People are still finding bomb remains from WWII where they failed to detonate when used and ended up simply buried in the ground where they hit, no to mention the random old styled grenades and old, forgotten mines that were not recovered. The ocean is a big place, with lots of very strong currents, so it is hard to say how far that bomb may have traveled from where it was originally used or lost.

Okay, so I'm pretty sure the manga will sort of blame old fisherman because he couldn't see that it was a bomb and it will make him realize he should have seen a doctor and he should retire: "oh no it's my fault my son lost an arm to a bomb I couldn't see because I'm old".
But maybe, just maybe, his son should have seen the fucking bomb since HE was pulling the net?

Eh I would have thought that the bomb could do more damage than that. Maybe sink the boat too

0 to 100 real fast again.
I know about getting junk war on land, but on sea too? Man, this is brutal.
What bomb is this btw?
Gonna see the father blame himself because he invited his son to give him a hand. (sorry)

@ngkn92 It's such a tiny bomb, barely bigger than a hand grenade, that it can only be a submunition from a cluster bomb. The island must have got its share of bombing during the war.
