Ah, the precordial thump. I have to use this when my heart screws off. Sometimes, it spasms while I'm on my feet, and that usually sends me hurtling to the ground like a puppet with no strings. Several times, hitting the floor, hard and flat, has been enough to restore normal heart rhythm. Definitely not a fun experience. Alas, my issue isn't from heart disease.
