I like how this manga always plays with or subverts expectations so far. Briefly setting up a character who you think may be a nefarious antagonist who is looking to take advantage of our MC in the coming arc, only to find out that she is actually the MC's mentor (pre-body swap).

Totally understand, Teasday. IIRC there are only a few series MangaUp actually simulpubs, so I guess it all depends on whether SE thinks it’s worth doing so.

I kinda hope he just reveals the truth to his mentor haha. I kinda like in these series when the character manages to get through to some of the people who should be able to parse things and how interactions evolve from that.

Kinda funny how she's supposed to be depicted as some sort of ultimate evil, but she was actually just slightly business savvy right after they just said the artists are independent people with their own will. Those editors are the ones with the real forked tongues here. If they had just admitted they were mad about what she was trying I'd be more on their side, but the sheer hypocrisy of their words makes me examine the situation more and notice that they're basically using threats of homelessness/poverty on employees as a means of control.
