Re-reading this I'm impressed at how well-structured the 21st tenkaichi budokai arc was. From the balance of the jokes and serious parts, foreshadowing (Bulma asking about when's the full moon when Goku grows his tail back) and even silly small details like Namu disguising as Muten Roshi to deceive Yamcha. The fight with Jackie Chun went a bit too long but not a big deal. If what I heard is true and this arc actually saved DB from cancellation, it's not surprising at all. Such a good arc.
