the art was iffy, i was a fan of the posing (hoping it isn't traced b/c some of these doujins jus trace Akira Toriyama's work 50% of the time)
the faces though and the height of characters as well
Trunks cheating in that way was like... bizarre

@ValidX i know about using models as reference*
tracing is practically stealing work and its heavily frowned upon, most mangaka [insert Toyotaro and Togashi]
taking inspiration is another thing.. like how Horikoshi took inspiration from a Spiderman Cover to make something entirely different
what i'm referring to though are djs who's art style are somewhat inferior deviations of the character sheets from Dragon Ball Super (forgot the guy's name)
or Toriyama's style, who randomly draw suspiciously close to whomever they are seeking to imitate
till you find out they totally traced several panels/ screenshots making a 1 to 1 copy, and transferred it into the context of their story.
i don't think this is what you had in mind, so i'm just clarifying

What an enigma this is, there's just about no info about this online, other than repetitions of what Marb has said with no ways to confirm them. Well, there's a video of Marb cleaning the raws (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPNVr_akNiU), so I'll throw out the idea that he made it himself, but it still is a huge mystery.

I’ll take back some of my doubts, having found this picture:
It looks real to me, with the way it is aged. That look’s really difficult to photoshop, with no apparent reason for doing so. Thus, this manga (or a manga using this cover) was released in Chinese at some point in time, and the copy the cover is from is either very well-read, old, or both.
Before I said there was no way to confirm Marb’s info, I take that back. Another person capable of reading Tibetan Chinese just needs to take a look at this cover, given the necessary information is given there.
