Hey everybody! So technically it's not the first Friday of November, however, this chapter was released in 2 parts (Part 1 came out in September, Part 2 came out October 21), so I had the chapter half finished already and was able to get this one out faster than expected!

In this chapter we learn more about who Touma is. Also - the family names and character names are my best guess at how to romanize them now that I no longer have the volume special extra pages (that came with the english romanization). I went with Ormali - it's a real name (Italian), it could be Olmari, Olmali, O'Malley, Ormori, Orlmorly, so many things. If the volume special pages clarify it, I'll use it going forward if it's still relevant (Not sure how long we're gonna get to know Touma).

And at long last, the best boy, Popp, makes his appearance! Look at that doki doki sparkle going on. He's fanboying so hard over Avan. And that backwards sword block was totally unnecessary... Avan is just aura farming at that point.

Also the popup store is still ongoing in Japan (and if I'm lucky a friend of mine will be getting me that adorable plushie) AND they've announced the 6th anniversary pre-order for a set of Hadlar and Avan figurines. Unfortunately, you'll need a physical copy of VJump with a special code and 180,000 yen to get it, and possibly a japanese credit card and courrier service... Ah to be in japan.

And lastly - be sure to check out the related tab on the main page of the comic. I've been putting out doujinshi and related works and will continue to do so between chapter releases!

Thank you for the hard work. I hope kindness comes your way.

Oh no. Touma is gonna die later isn't he?

Its simple but I love this series' world building.
I mean he doesn't show up in the original series as far as we know...

But rather than it be something serious like death, it might just be what's already been hinted, he seems very deep in thought thinking about what he actually wanted for himself. I don't think he wants to be a hero.

Prequel syndrome strikes again.

Popp just always had a childhood friend he never ever mentioned even once.
Yeah, you would think when Popp returns home at that one part of the main story, he would want to see his friend. I'm guessing something happens to him. Either he dies, or he goes off on an adventure somewhere, there has to be a reason.

Seems like the end is in sight, since all that's left after this would be to meet Dai and we know how that story went.
Well, Popp was Avan's aprentice for about a year before meeting with Dai, it depends how long that part is stretched of if they add the Avan's side of the story after his supposed death while Dai and Popp go on their own quest

I think we might get right up to when Avan saves Popp from myst's trap. It would be fitting for "Avan and the demon King of hell fire" to end with their final reunion and Hadlar's noble change.

That would be awesome to see Avan other side hero story, i mean he was powercreeped hard by Dai's dragon knight genetics and was kinda relegated to a secondary role despite being probably the most skilled of them all to the point even Vearn considered him a very dangerous threat despite his power being inconsecuential, and how many chances he gave to Hadlar despite his faliures just because he "killed" Avan
