I knew that imp had something up his sleeve. Anyway, I had some issues with this series, but it was a fun read, even if it didn't quite capture the same charm as the games. The upcoming anime finally gave me the kick in the pants to finally read it, after I've been meaning to for about a decade. Looking forward to seeing the fights animated.

I also had the feeling that the imp was going to try some last resort, near the end of the story.

Dai no Daibouken does have its ups and downs in story quality, but it’s all worth reading through. The second half of the story is where everything comes together!

I wonder if Crono knows that the Adventure of Dai has anime now? I read the manga for the third time now lol. I wish they give us an epilogue where we see the reunion. Oh well.

Just read this again since the anime came out. Yeah, this series really had its ups and downs. The weaker parts are kinda apparent if you binge it. I'm guessing the mangaka was already getting health issues near the end of this manga. (He still hasn't continued Beet the Vandel Buster). Regardless, it's a really good manga. I really do love it.

@shrike I don't think he was having health issues yet while he was doing this series, also Beet came back in like 2018, but only like the first chapter since it's return has been translated.

Definitely some rough handed attempts to bring back characters but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was really taken with Dai and friends and the epic battle that took place.

Really glad the anime brought this to my attention. ;w; why Dai why?
