Honestly idk what tf crossed the author’s mind to fumble so bad. I had a feeling when the tutor came back things would get dramatic and hoping the authors is able to handle it well. Few arcs before the ending when the author let Meguro started meddling into her friends business I felt like that was dumb and that’s when I felt like it his author has lost it. We get to the end and yep, that’s what happens. All that shit the tutor did like it never happened and having him tutor her again was wild. Enough of that. I checked the raws for this manga and I’m a bit disappointed. But I guess the drama is now starting
yeah but not drama as learning but drama as farcial things, well unironically hoping male MC got a different LI, that would bring genuine character development
Also Meguro issue was that, bringing back a irrelevant character for drama..for nothing as the manga was cancelled before any real development, a shame.
After running into Ban and her ex. We cut back to Ban in the apartment. Later revealing Yuuki laughed off running into them, but has put a sign on his door saying "no one talk to me". Word of advice to anyone. Don’t take spoiler summaries as a full depiction of the chapter.
For instance:
ch. 19:
Ban notices she might have hurt Yuuki and thinks he’s down because of her. She gets nervous about it and wants to get things between them back to normal, to the point of training how to talk to him against a pillow with a tag saying “Yuuki”. Plenty of cute scenes of her feeling embarrassed, once again showing her real feelings for him. She then corners him with the said Kabedon, telling him to absolutely not move out, that she’s sorry, and that she wants to continue training with him. That he was the the one who proposed that and that he can’t back down. Then he explains the misunderstanding and she gets completely embarrassed - this is the cue for chapter 20;
ch. 20:
Ban asks Yuuki what if he has any fetishes. She says it’s unfair she’s the only one feeling embarrassed and that she wants to get him embarrassed too. After some pressure, he says it’s not really a fetish, but he really likes her legs. She then gets him to have his face between her thighs. All of this at the laundry room of the flat, by the way. Things get steamy, but then there’s lots of commotion from the other flatmates outside. Yuuki tries to get out, but she locks him between her thighs and tells him to focus, they’re practicing - that’s the first mention of practice, by the way. Nothing of this was done under the “practice“ pretence until then.
ch. 21:
The landlord sends a bunch of presents to all of them, with night pool tickets included. People ignore the night pool tickets, but Ban and Yuuki at the same time decide to go together, whispering between them. When they were going to the pool, they come across her ex. They say they are going to the night pool, and her ex invites himself to go together, since he also has a ticket. When on the pool, Ban asks Yuuki if he’s disappointed they are not alone, and says she’s not really happy with Harutaka tagging along, since they were in a similar situation in the past, ending up getting lost from each other, with Ban leaving without looking for him, which lead them to have a big fight. Yuuki then says that’s it’s ok, if they get separated he will find her, no matter what. Well, they get separated, and Ban gets nervous and starts looking. Someone hold her wrist from behind, and she starts calling for Yuuki, thinking it was him who found her. It was actually Harutaka, with Yuuki still looking out for her.
As you can see above, the story sounds completely different when you are actually reading. Spoiler summaries do not reflect the story - they mostly reflect the points that caught the attention of the reader. If you are reading the story in a language you don’t fully understand, or if you are just skimming the chapter, you tend to lose a lot of context, with the spoiler summary ending up sounding like a completely different story.
I’d recommend anyone reading to continue reading, and not worry about spoilers for now. Just know what kind of story this is. It’s a romance story between two slightly dysfunctional adults, one which uses tropes typical of TV dramas as a backdrop. If you start seeing the tropes for what they are - just callbacks to the “theme” of the manga - you can actually focus on the story itself, and you can see how clever Enomoto is when using these tropes to actually depict and show Ban and Yuuki’s relationship developing.

I second this. They're literally in their mid 30's, some of the readers acting like Yuuki doesn't have a past relationship? And don't we all hate when exes suddenly appearing on a romance story? Yeah, the author's way of moving things is kinda shit, Ban's Ex suddenly living with them on the apartment? Lol. But c'mon guys. This is fiction, and as much as I hate the ex trope, it's still the author's way of moving things forward. We just gonna struggle for a few chapters.
Bro got tired of writing fluffy romance, but wants the hard juicy drama… even if it doesn’t turn out the best lmao
Edit: saw the uploader’s posts. I agree, but unnecessary decisions are still unnecessary. Just adding in a “rival ” is doomed to cause outrage, no matter what.
