The intention of framing Namamoto as Kitami's fake sister could be that it unlocks a situation where Lally tries to force Kitami to kill his own surrogate sister. The same way his brother tried to kill him in the car accident. Because in the bottom Lilly was kinda of a POS who tried to take down his own brother. By becoming better than Lilly Kitami beats Lally
In fact Lally's obsession with forcing Kitami to kill his friends probably revolves around Lilly trying to kill Lally himself

I wonder if any of those "Native Moon Species" will show up. It would be rather strange for them to bring something like that up and not do anything with it, but its kind of difficult to predict where this story is going most of the time.
