So... These are my thoughts on the series as a whole, after binging it.
First, this has the same issue as a LOT of other series, but fairly pronounced in South Korean works. Female violence against males is comedic and accepted and even sometimes encouraged in-universe. There is a fully main character, male, REPEATEDLY subject to EXTREME violence. He gets knocked unconscious in chapter 7, and then his unconscious body is dragged across the ground, and this is all good. He is the subject of unprovoked and completely unjustified attacks multiple times, but this is all treated as laughs. Any hint of using violence against females makes you automatic scum.
This isn't just me whining and going herp derp, men's rights. This series goes beyond that and has what would be, in real life, actually toxic relationships. I won't spoil anything, but one character is very controlling and possessive in intrusive ways. And I get that this is fiction, but that's just awful to see a person act like that in a relationship. And it's mildly encouraged? I can't go into depth without spoiling stuff.
However, beyond that, I do actually like the series for having developed side characters. It's not just about the main couple and them getting together. The other people have actual personalities, and that's nice.
It does have an EXTREME tendency towards "pair the spares", though, where the side characters kind of inevitably end up paired with other side characters.
Overall it's okay. I prefer the side characters over the main couple.
