Just keep summoning things, summon guns for them, chug elixirs, repeat.
He doesn't have elixers any more, thats partially why they are here. he can't summon them again for some reason so hes trying to find the real thing so he can learn how to sketch it properly and then summon it.

Honestly hope Akira shows them no mercy after all they've done, especially the Duke.

I was annoyed by this too. It seems he can't make elixirs anymore because the scrolls he uses to summon them burn when he tries to, for some reason

He can't summon guns because he can't create anything that doesn't exist in this world and it has long been established (as in, since, like, chapter 23 or so) that, following the incident in his childhood involving this very same cultist bitch, any time he tries to create an elixir scroll, it self-destructs.

The in-universe reason for the latter hasn't been established yet, though we all know the meta reason is because the author realized that that single ability, more than anything, killed any potential for tension in this series and knew he had to remove it as soon as possible without just straight up retconning things.

Pretty much this. If it was not for that, it would have been modern weapon time a long time ago.

I mean, when Mc was a kid his power was kinda dormant and the magic paper could handle the power output. However, after the fight with the big tiddie onee-san, he unleashed his power which is pretty much unlimited and a piece of paper cannot handle his magic. At least that’s my understanding on why he cannot spam Elixirs.

I have a theory that the scrolls burn because there is too much power in whatever he sketches on them. I know the magic in the scroll is supplied by somebody else, but it's the only thing I can think of as to why it is happening (at least based on what the author has disclosed up till this point).

Was this really a setup by Karameiz? I have a feeling that the king and Karameiz have different motives and that this trap is actually one by the King himself, meaning that Karameiz and her group are not involved.
In Chapter 135 Karameiz is talking about this. She is speculating if King Rudgar is foolish enough to show Akira a special kind of hospitality.

Maybe - I still don't see how that makes it any better to walk into the trap so willingly. Now it's a trap by 2 separate entities, that makes it even worse.

Now they are in the magic nation, Pansylvania. Logic dictates Pansylvania has much better "magic paper" available than Stromheim. Stromheim is only known for swordsmanship. Foreigners don't even necessarily know they have magicians at all. Powerful scrolls would be a core part of Pansylvania's industry and identity, so why wouldn't they have the highest quality parchments for it? But do you remembered the scene where Akira went to check shops for such parchment? No, I don't remember the scene either because he never did. Why didn't he? Because the reason he can't summon elixirs is just a haphazard excuse the author pulled ouf of his hat to prevent Akira from solving every problem with the elixir.

In the beginning of the story the elixir looked like an excellent plot element to explain how Akira could develop a massive mana capacity, but as the main story started unfolding, the author suddenly realised the elixir would become a major problem for any decent plot, such as the Oder infection, running out of mana in the middle of a fight, or a character getting badly wounded. You can't simply write in any tension if Akira has unlimited elixirs. So, he couldn't have that anymore. But neither can he try to solve the problem because the problem needs to stay there for the sake of the story. So, he acts like an idiot and never tries to do anything about it.
