Wanna bet Akira's gonna find a way to reverse the Oder curse/infection/whatever? I haven't read ahead, so I genuinely don't know whether she makes it or not, but something tells me this story lacks the balls for that kind of permanent consequence.Too bad about Katya, getting the zombie infection.
I'd say the chances of you being correct must be 9-1. This doesn't seem like the kind of story where Akira would be left with the unpleasant task of ending Katya's suffering and disgrace in front of the princess's eyes.Wanna bet Akira's gonna find a way to reverse the Oder curse/infection/whatever? I haven't read ahead, so I genuinely don't know whether she makes it or not, but something tells me this story lacks the balls for that kind of permanent consequence.
I do get what your saying, although at the same time even if something is predictably going to happen I still like to know how and what that event will result into. Like the saying goes, It's not about the destination, it's the journey.I'm just skimming these until MC shows up. Until then, the stakes are thoroughly dead. I'd write something longer and wittier, but it's just not worth it. Apologies to KittyBlue9, your uploads are well done, and this isn't meant to discourage you from working on the series, but there's only so much to be done with a plot as shoddy and formulaic as this.
Yeah. instead he could have said this. "I do not like to fight you but i have to... after all it is war." and then shut up.. no looooong monolog how huge his ego is."I'm so evil I will monolog about how powerful I am and not just kill you quickly" holy shit the writing is so bad.
i was gonna comment this, this whole "oh look there's a more EEEEVILLL AND POWERFULLLL ENEMY" (insert dr evil with his pinky finger in his mouth)/ACCORDING TO KEIKAKUUUUU is horseshit.this is getting increasingly more stupid
but what can you do, i'm already all in on this bs
I don't think this is really even a question, tbh. Don't forget that the whole basis of this series is the MC powering up by chugging the infinite supply of elixirs he has access to. In this series all it's been explicitly stated that elixirs do afaik is hp/mp recovery (and max increase), but elixirs are commonly magical cure-alls in fantasy.Wanna bet Akira's gonna find a way to reverse the Oder curse/infection/whatever? I haven't read ahead, so I genuinely don't know whether she makes it or not, but something tells me this story lacks the balls for that kind of permanent consequence.
Bad writing is one thing, but this isn't really what's happening either here imo. This guy showing up and going "oho look at me I'm so much more powerful than you puny heroes, I'm a singularity!" is pretty much something that was teased in the first arc of the manga. Akira himself was hinted as being a singularity even all the way back then, and the "shadows" mentioned in the backstory here were too, with his maid being one of them (who sealed his power to keep him away from all this BS she knew was out there).i was gonna comment this, this whole "oh look there's a more EEEEVILLL AND POWERFULLLL ENEMY" (insert dr evil with his pinky finger in his mouth)/ACCORDING TO KEIKAKUUUUU is horseshit.
Bad cliched storytelling
