One problem with using this way of speaking is it brings along the flavour of its origins. Unfortunately, some variations of English aren't the best choices when you're aiming for a "transparent" translation. Toyohisa's speech here gets overlaid with something distinctly un-Japanese, and this breaks the suspension of disbelief.
