Why would mercenaries request help for an extermination quest from a pharmacy in the first place. They didn't know if the Charmander was acting strange. Can they see the future

What person actually reacts this way when 3 idiots basically force their job on them for no reason or upside or benefit at all?
It was THEIR (the 3 stooges) jobs to deal with the Mini Dragon, and yet they shamelessly asked for another unrelated person's help
Didn't do a single thing at all in this entire quest except eat lunch (that's meant for people doing work) and act like man babies
All while trying to get their grubby mits on someone they definitely don't deserve.
The MC actually sticking with this after; the slander when they had lunch, the trying to get their slimy hands on waifu in exchange for MC telling them to do something minor (part of the job), and pushing literally everything onto MC,... This is beyond pushover...
