Its rare for me to gush about the level of details of a series, or how familiar some element of the arts are. I am by no means a comic book(western) affciniado, but I can notice what seperates the quality works of say, 80s and 90s comics to today's.
For example, in this series, the merc lady's pauldron have the details I find familiar in yesteryears comics.
