The reaction that guy had to Kamo was my reaction to Kaitani sensei. The guy's an actual genius and maybe the smartest mangaka whose work i've read.

I didn't expect to see a longer arc take place, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the MLM rabbit hole gets deeper. One of my biggest issues with Kurosagi (a previous Takeshi Natsuhara series, also about taking down fraudsters) was that the arcs rarely built off eachother or led to bigger things. Looking forward to seeing how this expands!
