Yeah, how i understood it is that if the mc choose the kang sieun route she won't disappear but in my opinion the best option is letting her, its sad but the dead will stay dead.
The foreshadowing makes it lean towards her staying, with the Hana saying the other girls never left the other player, and Hayeon saying she would stay if asked.
At the same time, her leaving while she resolved herself is the better choice realistically. Massive respect to the author if they went with that, but something tells me she's going to stay.
It's tagged Harem + removing a girl from the group might set readers expectations to fear their favourite girl is gonna vanish.
As a side note, there was a bit of inconsistency with him opening up about how the game worked with Hayeon at the hospital. There was no penalty warning then. Only after he reset and met Hana did a warning show up when he tried explaining it to the group. Either he ignored it at the hospital, telling only one of the girls is okay, or the author forgor.
