That is so ridiculous. What is the knight trying to accomplish? It makes absolutely no sense. "I sided with a bandit that kills women and children so I could kill this guy you like, now marry me!" This has to be one of the stupidest scenes I have ever seen. Guy is literally nothing but a contrived plot device that singlehandedly ruins the rest of the narrative.
