Dump your anime (/manga/ln/vn/whatever the fuck as long as it fits) trauma here.

Personally the ending of Nisekoi killed me as a new anime fan, I believed until the end but the truth came knocking at my door ~15 chapters before the end.

I'd say knowing the ending of Usagi Drop while having really liked the anime. It's not really a trauma, but it sucks.
I should read it sometimes.

I am not a anime watcher so I never got any trauma from anime.
And (average) manga... hmmm... nothings comes to mind.

But if you included hentai on this thread, probably every title written by this author.

Jokes on you, Visual Novel is just a mispell from the Japanese, the actual term is Graphic Novel and comes from way back (yes, I also know how to link Wikipedia).

Do you want actual quality to traumatise you for real?

aren't visual novels videogame-like now? the definition we use is different
Not necessarely, there still are VN that are completely linear that are not even "choose your own story", both SFW and NSFW (also known as Kinetic Novels). Then you have options and different endings and those that are videogame-like can be separated between old-school VN and low-budget weeaboo videogames. One of my favourite series is from the first type.

I misspoke, what I meant is that nowdays VN is a word used only to talk about the (visual) Novels on computer
