I totally made up insane monsters with multiple heads when I was about 6 or 7, and had arguments with my friend over whose monster would beat the other.
Unlike Laios's abomination though, my monster was completely symmetrical, and wasn't really made up of parts of existing animals. It was more inspired by xenomorphs than anything, probably because I'd got to watch Alien when I was 6 or so.
