I think at least one of them should have died from all that.

This was so much more detailed than anime, really love Riveria's part! Thanks for the chapter!

@Twi Well, tbh, we knew that would not happen because we've seen them all on the 18th floor on the way back up in the main story (at least all the main ones).

Well yeah the Sword Oratoria anime was an absolute failure in comparison. I'm most mad about their butchering the monster pantry arc. They cut the Hermes familia to nothing, the scale and intricacy of battles to nothing, and the emotional impact of that to nothing. The biggest driving force behind Lefiya's character development (not to mention Bete)... gone. Much struggle and sacrifice... gone.

And of course every major battle involving the whole Loki familia (basically an army) gets cut down to a handful of high ranking members. Far less impressive and messes up the atmosphere. In short I really think the anime for this RUINED Sword Oratoria. The main story anime did fine though, but I liked the "side story" better than the "main story".

And now they get attacked by something bigger and Ais gets kidnapped.

Taking into account that the humans with a jewel in their bodies are still around that would make sense.

@bk3k I think anime was decent for what time it was given, would be very surprising to see side story more than 1 cour, but yeah the atmosphere in manga was completely different and the pantry arc was completely changed.

that was intense, maybe comparable to "Straw hat pirates VS Oars",
well, this one is shorter
