Weird that the perspective changed to Bell. I thought the whole point was we see the story from Freya familia and others.

Yup, feels like this monologue/perspective is one we already seen in the Bell-centric anime? Or is my mind just making up memories?

tbf, pretty much any scene where he plays too much a role in, hurts the sword oratoria story (yes, that "story story" was intentional xD). The reason I liked it so much is because of the focus it put on Aiz and lefiya (somehow redeemed her entire character to me after hated her from danmachi s1, and made her a character I like) and the grittier side of the world where people die left and right, and no hero can upturn fate and produce something better than a pyrrhic victory at best (yes, heroes exist, but they are portrayed as heroes making the best result out of a tragic and damning situation, with their limited reach inherent to reality making sand slip through their fingers).
But instead, by necessity of bells own story, any scene with him in it can't have ppl die if it wants to remain canon and the concept of him being a "pure untainted hero that makes the impossible possible (don't remember how it was phrased when said explicitly in latest anime season)", meaning you know everyone has plot-armor (not just main-story characters).

Sadly, it because the Sword Oritoria LN skips this scene nearly in it's entirety. There nothing for the manga to adapt, so we're essentially getting the main series for a chapter.

I love the SO side story as you can read it entirely on it's own, but at this point the author pretty much said "read the main series."

I thought Sword Oratoria is Ais' side of the story, and the Freya family are the secondary characters like how Lilli and Wolf are for the main story?

Good chunk is from Lefiya, Tione, Tiona, Loki, Finn, and Bete's perspective.

We did indeed have side arcs or views from those characters. Like that previous one where it was all focused on Bete.

It's not like it's completely Bell's side of the story, as we're still getting glimpse into Ais and the other's minds. So at least there is that. Though I'm not sure how it compares to the main story as I've never made it this far.

She's kinda wrong. He's level 3, but this is more so him fighting at his level 4 version. Though she has no way to know about the temporary level boost. Still being able to compete at all, even if she doesn't want to kill him, is pretty impressive. Bell definitely punches above his level.
