It was a lot of talking, but I feel like the whole internal situation within the Loki familia, and this shift, was handled quite believably. Needless to say, even if the others seemed to take it well enough after going through it meticulously, Ais is a different thing. Bete ought to be a different thing as well, but he's not really a deep thinker and thus wouldn't really care. He must have come to the conclusion that bumping into the Xenos randomly in the dungeon isn't all that likely, so nothing will change in practice, after this particular operation is over.

Lefiya's character has improved, or lets say matured, by leaps and bounds. Lefiya from the beginning of this whole story would have hardly sent Ais to meet Bell with a supportive smile.

Sigh. Great chapter!! The structure and progression of characters in this series is soooo good and satisfying. They have let the story take its time, and put characters before plot. That doesn’t always work, but this series nails it.

Ais is quite the yuri elf magnet... and I support her flower garden harem. Ah, but Bell likes Ais, though he has Hestia and more. Lefiya is all about Ais, but she's clearly drawn to Bell (even if in denial). If not for Ais's apparent lack of interest in romance, this could be a nice throuple, where killing monsters is foreplay.
