For a moment I thought maybe the Dark Ageha had been possessed by a parasitic weapon.

I think Ageha is still a lunatic but just genuinely has amnesia. With all the focus on puppet sword this chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if the tank that Ageha was stored in is also a puppet instrument and Dark Ageha is the remainder or something like that.
