I mean, she has the right idea. Destroying that sword is probably for the better.

I wonder what plan he had for after defeating her. Still having the sword possess him and such.

She looks so much nicer when she's sitting there drinking tea. And not actively trying to kill him.

Being polite usually helps. Wonder if it helps against a psychopath.

I think poking holes at any story is easy to do.
But it's so fun to do that, and it doesn't make reading it worse.

How was this the last resort after giving into the parasite sword. Hell Why didn't try rolling the personality gacha with the other girl again. She was the only thing with varying results.
to be fair i would be so pissed at this bitch for insta killing me that my last resort would be showing 'respect' to her too :kek:

This is what I prefer, to be honest. Dude sat his butt down, thought about it, tried some methods, thought about it again and is trying other methods. THAT is good character development and I'm glad the manga decided to stop skipping them, at least I hope that's what this is a sign of.

He went through all that instead of trying to free ageha again? seriously? Did he already forget that she was nice the first time?
Also why did he never use provoke on the vampire? did the author already forget about it?
And did he just stop gaining skill points?

I agree that this should have definitely been step 1 after the first time the sword didn't work, but I do actually get not trying Ageha again.

She was the one that gave him the ability to revive initially, so it stands to reason that she may be able to take it away, especially since the other one could somehow sense his betrayal through timelines and warned him not to approach her again. In the same situation, I probably wouldn't risk that either

Good news, lateral thinking more or less becomes his “main weapon” as the WN progresses.

He’s not a genius, but he develops a kind of logic that dying thousands of times will do and the author does cleaver things with it.

and did you forget that she killed him the second time and told him that she will do over and over again if he dares to free her?

Be-...cause it's a variable result. She's the only one that remembers the resets. The other ways, he can just save scum his way to an answer. MP girl changes every single time, and there's no guarantee that she'll like him any more the three hundredth time he shows up.

When everything in the goddamn place are all trying to kill you, fight or flight is a common response. Heck it might be even the only thing you can think to. The moment he sat down and calm down, he figured something out. It make sense honestly
Also, his MO so far has been to try something hundreds of times anyway. Same thing happened with the first scum point.
Why did he use that sword again and again after the first time his consciousness got taken over? Isn't getting your consciousness taken over would be the worst result ever? Worse than death even, because he apparently can still percieve his body's actions throughout the possession.
The girls definitely kill him every time he meets them. The sword lets you live for hours on end, and you still keep some level of control, if only for a while. Once he got far enough into the fight with the vampire girl, the sword completely took over, and he realized it was a dead end. So he moved on to something else.
He should have tried approaching Ageha or Judith earlier. At least with these girls he can interact and talk, changing the variables immensely. Even though Ageha has multiple personalities, it's still better.
Ageha is literally the worst possible option. She remembers everything that happens, but only vaguely enough to be a hindrance to his attempts. It's literally the worst possible outcome. If she didn't remember at all, he could save scum her and reciprocate her affection. If she remembered more, she'd probably realize she killed herself, and the poor guy's only sin was not letting himself get raped.
