The problem is when people try to make a profit from translating, which some groups do by redirecting to ad-riddled websites

I don't get why people don't just go to the scanlator's website with adblock? I get no issues when I use adblock. The mods only ban groups that have chapters behind pay walls which this scanlator does not have.

I just want to talk about the second half of this chapter...

(pretty sure it was split in half because that's how the raws are released)

It is a little messed up that they upload under TLs onto their website that aren't theirs though. Though that isn't really that different from any other aggregator.

Why are you trying to snipe? Actually, reviewing, you've been taking aim at a lot of series that still have active groups working on the titles. It's to the point where you guys should get banned for being scummy. Rule was series had to go six months without updates to be "available" for pick up, but you aren't even pretending the titles are inactive.

So i checked on their discord. Someone commissioned this group to target several series. Which means these MTL garbage scans were paid for.

The person who translates most of the series for Darling scans got hacked and has spent the last 2 months trying to get back all their accounts. So please try and actually think before you speak.

I personally think its more scummy to sit on a chapter for almost two months than to snipe it. If you prefer the other tl, you can wait. I prefer to have my chapters out faster so I wont forget what happened. (Unless the new tl quality is noticeably worse)

Darling Scans doesnt sit on chapters, they wait until both parts of a chapter release (from the raws, 1 half releases monthly) before they merge them and upload that. They couldnt work on any manga for a bit because the head of the group got hacked on discord.

Remember when MC was still using the parasite sword in the future, the sword could remember some things that's why the sword became friends with MC because it felt like remembered the MC despite it being the first time they met.

Thinking back on it, the parasitic weapon Kiska used was showing subtle changes to its inner form every time he revived. After it gained thr humanoid form and promptly killed itself, when Kiska revived, it was a complete and total monster.

These weapons are somehow able to keep up with Kiska's revivals and clue their wielders into that fact.

Scanlations groups shouldn't do over 87876387 series at once, period.

Do good quality releases as soon as possible or eat dust. Neglecting the readers is not acceptable.

I don't give a rat ass that your other titles are more popular and bringing you more money so you prioritize those.

Scanlations with donations are a service. You either provide the service or you lose your clients.

Sorry but i give money to whoever gives me the manga i want to read.

I say this as someone that over the years as paid out pf pocket thousands in commision work that gives everyone free manga to read.

@manga_sss1 I don't really care about the snipe, but you should remove the mention of your website on the last page. Mods have been banning groups and nuking all of their uploads recently for that kind of thing. I'm not sure if this is technically breaking the rules since the next chapter isn't paywalled, but it's probably not a good idea.

Also yeah, people here are just making stuff up about there being rules against sniping. That has never been a thing on MangaDex. It's just something people do to be nice and avoid wasted effort.

You are the only one who is right in what you say. Raw released chapter 34.1 in one month and chapter 34.2 in another month, and I'm following Raw...

Expanding on this, sniping behavior like this can result in the original group dropping the series. Odds are that the sniper isn't very committed and will drop it themselves after a couple chapters, which leaves the series in question completely dead in the water.

Sniping is poison for fan translations.
