Hmm, she really is the Obsidian Golde is likely truly hunting for, instead of the daughter Ryuuka (also of the Obsidian fame). It seemed likely even before, but I was a bit suspicious due to the past big cheese being her dad and not the mom, but her also being an old legend fits both for the timeline (how could Golde have heard of Ryuuka a long time ago, when she's somewhat new in her position?) and Golde's idea of the hunt (he was hunting a her, not a him).
