I was wondering why didn’t make a hole immediately when he found his walls couldn’t stop it. I mean boars aren’t exactly known for their jumping ability and would be preety easy to lure into a hole.

@Niralam It's probably pretty hard to think straight when you're busy running for your life.
Like, if you're going to get in a car accident, and your brakes aren't working or aren't enough, there IS such a thing as the hand brake. And yet, no one thinks to use it.

As @Niralam said, I was also wondering why he didn't make a hole, or why he didn't make a spear/huge spear and drop it on the boar, brunt force wasn't working so why not use a sharp weapon such as a spear, and a heavy spear dropped by gravity would be even more deadly.
