I can't tell if the artist/author is having the priestess flog specifically her breasts to appear erotic to a certain part of the audience, or if it's some demonstration of the difference in thinking between this world and ours. If women are still the ones who nurse a child, then breasts would still be heavily associated with motherhood and reproduction, so maybe the act of whipping her breasts is to specifically deny the part of her that yearns for a child or lusts for the act of producing a child.

Flagellation is the whipping of the entire exposed body to "cleanse oneself of sinful thoughts via meditation through pain". If it was a guy they would be whipping their tits as well, the erotic factor is only because you're attracted to women's breasts.

Honestly, if you reverse the genders you can really see the issue of a singular-gender-domineering society. Like here, the second half of the chapter is a young man beating himself up because a woman gave him a boner.

This is why the all Futanari race is superior both morally and in species survivability. :dogkek:

For some reason I read "whip of self-discipline" in Rolf's voice from Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy.

"Life is many wonderful things, Ed-boys, but can your spirits survive the whip of discipline!?"
Holy sh*t same, except my mind went "this is the whip of self-discipline, DO YOU LIVE IN A CAVE!?"

"Anzengata (safe shape/birthing hips)" is a trope from older JP media to comment about a woman.
Just reverse the genders and grandpa isn't so freaky anymore. Such are dangers of gender stereotyping and comments.

The more you know. 🌠

Obligatory degenerate Kyuukei ED comment:
"Nothing holier than covering a nun with your flagella"
It does make me wonder how a reverse moral society would see pregnancy. Is it seen as a feat of strength?

It does make me wonder how a reverse moral society would see pregnancy.

Probably the act itself as a "trophy". But actual pregnancy probably slightly averse. Because then (the woman) has to take care of (the male) and (his child).

I don't think the fictional universes are well thought out enough to consider the sheer weight of biological functions, "carrying" a child, labor, post-partum bonding. Or moral implications, such as abortions. Or muscle mass and secondary sexual characteristic development. They just try drawing characters behaving amusingly, without backing it up.

I've read gender/moral-reveral works that actually play that straight. And usually it absolutely requires historical stochastic "cataclysms". A population imbalance rendering males "absurdly rare". Or some sort of degenerative, hereditary, Y-Chromosome specific disease. Radiation, mutation, selectivity, etc, rendering males "biologically weak".

Before some one tries saying "I'm being misogynistic" for stating facts that gender-reversal of women (in our world) are the reverse of above:
  • Historical cataclysms: Ukraine war resulting in massive (>20%) shortage of child-capable males
  • Population imbalance: China one child policy, Asian male bias, causing massive shortage of marriageable girls
  • Degenerative disease: Lowered fecundity (fewer kids), delayed age of first child (>35), trisomy in first world nations
I think the manga that most closely reflected this is actually one about that isekaied normal guy who is viewed as a "man-slut".

I mean, the whole Y chromosome thing is an actual thing that's happening.

@wallenwhatsit012 On page 10 (165) Is a little word deleted above the priestess head which would seemingly translate to something like "Hm? - Nh? - Hoe? - huh? " And on page 20 is a small sentence in the lower left part next to a text box deleted without translation, if possible please fix it~ 🧑‍🔧

Otherwise thanks for the chapter, and see you in the next one~ :salute:

So why won't he bang Rogue again? Is it because she's too upfront about wanting sex?
Probably because it has to do with her bounty on her head for murdering someone? That or she's just freaky about sex.

Dang, forgot about this manga in my Reading bookmark.
