So we got Tora who could be a bowler, a chef, a darts player, or even all of the above. And we also have Ranmaru, the cigarette thief himself, as confirmed people in the area still. Other than the two of course.
They look so old, so I assume this means that it's been multiple eras since theirs.
The principal and mayor definitely come off as Suzuran graduates. But will they confirm Zetton got a job teaching at Suzuran, in this series...

[So, Yaita was talking about how he works at a yakitori place that's currently being remodeled. Is it safe to assume that the yakitori place Yaita mentioned is the same one Parco is trying to create in High & Low: The Worst?
There's also an Easter egg about Rindaman. I forgot which episode, but the project is called High & Low: The Worst Episode 0. In it, the two main characters talk about how, during their childhood, a man from out of town moved into their apartment building. People started calling him "the M*rderer," which is obviously Rindaman's nickname. It's even more obvious that it's a reference because when they talk about that rumored man, the episode shifts into Hiroshi Takahashi's art style.

Now, with this chapter, is this the author's way of saying that the universes are actually connected now?]

I love the fact that we are getting in essence a whole pre suzuran manga about how the gang is living their middle school delinquent days

It really gives some solid foundation to all the "back in middle school i was the fireball of so and so!" stories first years tell
