I haven't read the prequel and I am not planning to but even I felt sad

Yeah, that was sad. (Although there were at least 4 immortal/semi-immortal characters in the original, including Telomera (that robot), so he may run into some more people he knows.)

There was the immortal girl from the murder case early on, I think her name was Annie?, the two scientists who turned themselves into a pair of group minds of children… there was also the girl with the blood which could heal people, and of course Leon became a robot and joined his robot lover so they may still be "living" too.

if he really can move between world why he don't sometimes get back to his old one ?
there's few immortal girls who loves him too in there ...
and there's some girl waiting him until old and he put his gift near her after she died because old age ...

(what is really surprising, Bolt can eat her when her container get attacked by virus, thus saving her)

Thanks for identifying them. There was way to much sameface, too huge a cast of characters, and too much episodic/non-linear storytelling in the previous series for me to to remember a single character lol

Not that those second two things are bad or anything
