You know, I can't say I "enjoy" this work, but chapters like these give you an appreciation for just how challenging it is to tackle deep-seated trauma. It's not as easy as you meet the right friends and then go on to live happily ever after. That's the one thing this manga gets right, even if it plays like a cynical and exploitative misery porn for the most part.
