I know both feelings. When I work for someone, it can honestly be devastating to not hear any feedback, but likewise, if someone works for me I'm often only interested in their service and feel like it's a waste of my time to get to know them or whatever xD

Does indeed sound like she's over cleaning. I'd get sweeping and wiping the floors/seats/taps/door handles etc several times a week and all the counters in the kitchen daily but most rooms like bathrooms probably only need to be deep cleaned once or twice a week if you're super fussy like sensei. I guess the author had to justify what lucille does all day.

Seems like the kiddo is gonna be learning the hard truth that when you're getting paid for a job you won't necessarily have friendly clients (but also professional boundaries). I do see why her parents were against letting her do this.

I think its mostly for housewife's and housekeeper's thing. I used to have a house keeper and she has to do the floor everyday and even the laundry and cooking. My mom wasn't really happy that she doesn't do a more heavier cleaning but it was nice not having to do it unlike now...

And that, kids, is what we call as housekeeping. Something that you must learn soon, by yourself, like it or not. Why? Because you are alone, on your own, and have no one else to lean on. One day, your parents will die, and not everyone would always be at your side, even your brother or sister would someday leave you, your friends can betray you, etc. So you have to learn to stand on your own. Learning to do housekeeping is a part of that, because that's how you take care of yourself and your environment/surrounding.

It would seem the poor girl had something different in mind. XD

Interestingly, I can see myself from both Deidei and Sensei's perspective - but while I understand Deidei wants "feedback" from Sensei, I wish she would pick up on how introverted he is (not that I'm any good at picking up hints myself. XD).

the true goal of learning housekeeping is finding that golden sugar mama and obtaining the ideal house husband life :salute:

i think sensei is looking for a housekeeper who does their job well without disturbing him but her expectations of the job is completely different. if she really want to be a housekeeper after her studies, she'd be better suited for a master who interacts more.

that being said, i don't think she cares for the job that much; she clearly just wants to be with sensei, so 👀
