I'm wondering about that confession too, the way she phrased it the confession definitely was understandable but how they played out the rest of the scene wasn't exactly how an actual confession usually looks but in the end all that could just be because of how their relationship is. Like even tho they admit they love each other they aren't quite sure how to act on it is more what I am getting out of this instead of MC not understanding her. Because honestly to me her first "confession" where she asked him to marry her already felt like she was somewhat getting her feelings across to him.

Even if it's not direct, Elria has already revealed her feelings in some way with what she's saying! It would make sense that Reid can't really find anyone in his village attractive. He's already gone through so much in life, I doubt he'd be easily charmed by just beauty. He's looking for an equal, and it looks like that can only be Elria!

Well, hopefully I'm reading it right, and the King literally bribed the FMC to not enroll at the same time as his daughter (the princess), probably as a way of her being able to go to school without being in the FMC's academic shadow, so now when they enroll, she'll have graduated, and avoid the harem nonsense.
