Normally I'd assume that the teacher just didn't know she was the sage's reincarnation, but since this is the one that knows who Reid actually is, doesn't she know Elria too? Did she just get mega-nerfed in her reincarnation and I'm forgetting, or does the teacher just only know Reid but not Elria?

Elria's limited to tier 3 by the principal because the school barrier, building, and geography cant handle more than that

Regardless of who knows the thing about her being the actual sage reincarnated, her public nickname is "Sage's Reincarnation" for the sole reason that her magic is OP as fuck

She can only use tier-3 magic because she’s prohibited from using higher tier magic, on account of all the collateral damage.
