It's actually not that hard. There are 2 timelines.
The old timeline has 2 sets of time travellers. The first is Elria and her dad, they travel back to the point in time where Reid is still alive. There, Elria is born again without any memories. The second set of time travellers are the leftover humans from the world that Elria had destroyed. They can no longer survive in that hostile world, and decide to travel back in time. While doing that, they stumble upon Elria (In her new body in Reid's time) and kill her because they only remember her as the demon queen of their time.

After her death, Vors goes crazy and drops a spell to remove the country Altein from everyone's memory. This now leads to the current world.

What i do not understand is how could they kill elria/stole her magic so fast (little tiana was just a short time away) with no signs of a fight? They could not kill demon queen elria. At least this was what the future hero told and why he was searching for another solution. And where are the leftover humans from the future who travels in the past an kill elf elria the last 1000 years? Secred organization? Why not help the emperor after elria and reid died since the blonde hero seems to like altein? Or did they just jump into the past kill elria and jump back?

And i do not find it very clear who was the elf male teacher of rufus and lafika (dragon girl) with future knowledge who has given her a forbidden curse which would have killed her if elria not saved her. In this chapter it seems this was the better future for her but if Vors is dead and only his memories are in the headmaster girl he/she cannot be the elf male.

Iirc in early chapters Elria died by a 'disease'/'sickness', so my guess is poison or other covert means. Also consider that Elria the 'young lady who invented magic' is weaker than 'Elria the demon queen that's lived for a thousand years'.

I also don't think the blonde hero that surrendered was an Altein supporter. By the time he surrendered, Elria would've had a long time to destroy the world, and I have a hard time believing Altein isn't the first country she nuked to dust.

I'm also trying to piece shit together, hopefully this is the only time travel twist in the story.
